Glossary of terms

Record	A record refers to a single system and all of the information that is linked to that system. Click here to see an example of a record for GaN.

System	A system refers to the upper most level of a material or part of interest. Examples of systems are: An ionic liquid like 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium ethylsulfate An alloy like Ti-6Al-4V A polymer like PMMA A coating like a fluoroacrylate A think layer high-voltage device
